Service packs
For many of our clients to derive the most value from their website
possible their site must be constantly updated and maintained. By purchasing a WDM Service Pack you ensure WDM will set aside a period of time each month specifically for the maintenance of your site.
For smaller websites a standard monthly retainer (paid quarterly) fee of $150 per month is payable. This entitles you to 2 hours of our time each month. For larger websites a standard monthly retainer (paid quarterly) fee of $225 per month is payable. This entitles you to 3 hours of our time each month. Any unused retainer hours do not roll over into the next month.
In addition clients may purchase WDM Service Packs which come in blocks of 5 / 10 / 20 / 50 / 100 hours which are charged at $75 per hour, in 15 minute blocks.
The advantage of the WDM Service Packs for our clients is you will know
exactly each month how much you will spend on updates and maintenance.
This is great for example for sites such as e-commerce where they
constantly need to add, delete, or update product information and for any
site which will require regular monthly updates.
WDM will notify clients when it looks likely that your account will go
into negative and again when your account actually goes negative. We will
complete all maintenance work as normal but it will not go online until an
invoice for the negative hours is paid or another Service Pack is
purchased.
All monies received by WDM regarding the fixed retainer and service packs
are non-refundable. Hours purchased as part of the service packs expire
after 1 year after date of payment if not used.
Updates may be completed on demand but at a quoted price. The right option
for your business will depend on the volume of updates required. Please
note rates for on demand work may be higher than the retainer due to the
fact that WDM will have to fit you in to its busy schedule of work as
opposed to having a period of time set aside for your site each month.
Please note: "Maintenance" refers only to basic changes such as to HTML, basic graphic editing, page creation and the addition of new products.
Maintenance is thus covered by the retainer and WDM Service Packs.
"Development" refers to major programming such as PHP, Actionscript,
MySQL, and other major design and development changes. Development thus
requires a quote to be prepared by WDM as if the work to be completed was
a new project or stage of development.
